I have just signed a national petition taking a stand against
the Amnesty bill that was just passed in the Senate (S. 2611).
Unless grassroots Americans stand up and say "Stop the Invasion",
this bill would throw open the door to between 60-100
million illegal aliens over the next twenty years!

This is an issue of national security that demands
your immediate attention. Please click below for
more information:

After signing this important petition, please see the
special report below.

The Senate just passed it's Hagel-Martinez Amnesty bill --
what many are calling the "No Illegal Alien Left Behind Act" --
by a final vote of 62-36.

If you have been watching the debate then you know that
this outrageous bill has gotten worse by the hour. Right
down to the final minutes before the vote, Senators were
adding language that further undermines our nation. For
example, the bill calls for "consultation" with Mexican
authorities before the agreed-upon fence is built!

Despite their best attempts at hoodwinking the American
public into believing that S. 2611 is a "guest-worker"
bill, the truth is it is nothing more than a blanket
amnesty bill. Regardless of the language they use, it
is what it is. Grassfire is taking issue with these
"Amnesty Republicans" whose actions have not only
disrespected the citizens of our nation, but also
further divided the Republican Party.

Here's our list of "Amnesty Republicans."

+ + Don't Lose Hope -- Battle Just Begun!

The battle to secure our borders and save our nation
from an amnesty flood is far from over.

Grassfire is already developing our strategy to embolden the
House to oppose the Senate amnesty measure. Yes, we can
defeat this, but it will take a rising tide of grassroots
citizen outrage in the coming weeks.

As part of our multi-faceted strategy, Grassfire is urging
citizens from across the nation to take immediate action
with us by signing our petition to "Secure Our Borders":

This issue poses a very real threat to every man, woman
and child living in our nation, and demands attention.
That's why Grassfire wants to rally 650,000 citizen
responses to present them to key lawmakers--demanding
they listen to the majority of American citizens who say
"No to amnesty for illegals!"

Thanks for taking action with us. Alliance

P.S. After signing this petition, please alert your friends,
family, and co-workers, letting them know that Grassfire is
standing up and saying "Stop The Invasion!"

Thanks for your help.

Government commits TREASON by protecting illegals!

From this link, an excellent blog post RANT that everyone must see. Please add comments to her post too!

The posting:

We all know that the economical and social price of illegal immigrants here in the U.S. is very high. We also know that our prisons are teeming with illegals.

The American government is committing treason when it comes to the criminal neglect of one of it's primary functions: Protecting it's citizenry from hostile foreign invaders.

Every day, illegal aliens murder 12 American citizens! That's 4,380 per year, and a total of 21,900 since September 11th.

By the way, the "Vietnam-esque quagmire" that the Dems like to screech about over the term of the Iraq war rests (as of this week) at 2,863, with an additional 289 reported in from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

If only the government put as much attention to protecting us against these marauders as they do against the Islamic terrorists!

But the killing doesn't stop with outright homicide... Rep. Steve King of Iowa also estimates that about 13 Americans are killed every day by illegal alien drunk drivers. That's an additional 23,725 deaths.

That brings the annual death toll to 9,125, with a five-year total of 45,625.

What about the victims who don't die?

From WND:

King also reports eight American children are victims of sexual abuse by illegal aliens every day- a total of 2,920 annually.

Based on a one-year in-depth study, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute of Atlanta estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each. She analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

As the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. increases, so does the number of American victims.

According to Edwin Rubenstien, president of ESR Research Economic Consultants, in Indianapolis in 1980, federal and state correctional facilities held fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. But at the end of 2003, approximately 267,000 illegal aliens were incarcerated in all U.S. jails and prisons.

While the federal government doesn't track illegal alien murders, illegal alien rapes or illegal alien drunk driving deaths, it has studied illegal aliens incarcerated in U.S. prisons.

In April 2005, the Government Accountability Office released a report on a study of 55,322 illegal aliens incarcerated in federal, state, and local facilities during 2003. It found the following:

The 55,322 illegal aliens studied represented a total of 459,614 arrests- some eight arrests per illegal alien;

Their arrests represented a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses- some 13 offenses per illegal alien;

36 percent had been arrested at least five times before.

These numbers are mind-boggling! What possible reason do our politicians have in the face of suchbloodyddy onslaught against America to NOT secure our borders and start deportations?

I wonder if it would be possible for the victims of crimes perpetrated by illegal aliens to sue the Federal government for criminal neglect? If this number of lawsuits were brought against the government, would it prompt them to action, since they are obviously apathetic to the voter's wishes?

Deport Elvira Arellano

Deport THIS WOMAN. So she looks like Jennifer Lopez. She is a GOD DAMNED CRIMINAL. She is an illegal alien and was due to be deported and she is guilty of document FRAUD. She used a stolen Social Security number and this is her second offense at entering the country illegally. What the HELL is this country doing allowing her SANCTUARY? I am SICK AND TIRED of this BULL.

If we allow her to stay then we will have MILLIONS of ILLEGALS streaming into churches looking for SANCTUARY. Trust me. It will get out of hand. When the HELL is this country going to grow a BACKBONE? Hell I'll drive her to Mexico my damn self.

And that pastor, Walter Coleman is a FELON according to US Law. He is harboring an illegal alien. It is our FEDERAL LAW for crying out loud. Arrest him!

My country MAKES ME SICK.

Illegal immigrant admits to selling fake IDs

BOSTON - An illegal immigrant from Guatemala who was living in Lawrence pleaded guilty yesterday and was sentenced in federal court to six months in prison for selling fake identification documents.

U.S. Attorney Michael J. Sullivan and Bruce M. Foucart, special agent in charge of immigration and customs enforcement in New England, said that Ismael Esteban Chavez, 26, of 87 Alder St., Lawrence, pleaded guilty to a one-count indictment charging him with knowing transfer of fraudulent identification documents

9 charged with sales of faked ID cards

Federal authorities said yesterday that they raided apartments in Medford, Somerville, Hull, and Framingham last week and arrested nine illegal immigrants as part of a national crackdown on labs that manufacture fake identification documents.

The nine people, all Brazilians, were charged with selling counterfeit Social Security cards, alien registration cards, and green cards to informants who were secretly cooperating with a newly formed task force that has been targeting such fraud. The cards allegedly sold for $120 to $200 a set, which included a Social Security card and a green card.

``Counterfeit document labs pose a very serious threat to the safety and security of our communities and our country," said Matthew J. Etre , acting special agent in charge of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Boston. ``Fake documents create the illusion of legitimacy and allow criminals and law breakers to hide in plain sight."

Affidavits filed in court say those charged had sold anywhere from eight to 24 fake identification cards to the government's cooperative informants.

But during a press conference yesterday, US Attorney Michael J. Sullivan said investigators believe that one of the immigrants, whom he would not name, produced up to 10 fake documents a day for the past five years.

He said most of those charged used home computers and color copiers to make the fake cards. Most of the documents were issued with immigrants' real names coupled with fictitious Social Security numbers, Sullivan added, and that they didn't involve the theft of people's identities.

Authorities said the scope of the operations ranged from rudimentary to sophisticated -- with some fake Social Security cards barely distinguishable from the real thing.

But several lawyers who represent some of those who were arrested denied that their clients were operating ``labs" and described them as hard-working immigrants.

Page Kelley, a lawyer with the Federal Defender's office who represents two of those arrested, argued that there was no large-scale operation . The case is really about undocumented immigrants who must show proper documentation to get a job or drive a car, she said. All of those arrested have been ordered held without bail. They include: Rubens Desousa Pereira , 36, of Malden; Luciano Silvio Santos, 44, of Medford; Eclair C. Teixeria , 41, of Framingham; Juan Silvino Esteban Ramirez , 36, and his brother, Ismael Esteban Chavez , 25, both of Lawrence; Maria Costa, 33, of Hull; Ricardo Meireles Alves , 50, and his wife, Cleonice Sousa , 42, both of Somerville; and Matusalem Soares Da Rocha , 20, of Worcester.

Kelley, who represents Teixeria and Chavez, said Teixeria works in construction and Chavez worked for a landscaper.

Stephen Hrones , a Boston lawyer who represents Santos and Sousa, said Sousa is a seamstress and mother of four. Federal agents seized a computer, printer, color copier, laminator, and approximately $1,000 from her apartment on Benedict Street in Somerville.

``They are all small-timers," said Hrones, adding that the government is ``sending a message out to try to stop this type of criminal activity."

Boston attorney Jonathan Shapiro , who represents Costa, said she worked cleaning houses. ``She's charged with doing this on her own," he said, adding that all of the transactions she's accused of involved a cooperating witness.

Sullivan said Boston's Document and Benefit Fraud Task Force, created two months ago, is one of 10 nationwide that is targeting the escalating problem of labs that manufacture counterfeit identification documents.

The task force is made up of investigators from customs enforcement , the Secret Service, the State Department's Diplomatic Security Service, the Social Security Administration's office of the inspector general, and the office of Middlesex Sheriff James DiPaola.

Illegal alien criminals wandering our country

Here's a list of recent crimes committed by illegal aliens in our country. Why are some of these illegals REPEAT criminals? They should be DEPORTED the first time they are picked up!!!!

Illegal Alien sent to Prison
Illegal Alien Charge with Death of Actress
Illegal Alien Accused of Stealing Identity
Wreck Suspect May be Illegal Alien
Three Men Arrested in Early Morning Drug Raid
Illegal Alien Found Guilty in Meth Ring
Illegal Alien Receives 10 Year Sentence for Meth Distribution
Illegal Immigrant Criminals Fall Through The Cracks
12-pack Illegal in Fatal Car Crash
Branson Effort Against Illegal Immigration Uncovers Murder Suspect
Wake Up and Smell the Invasion
DHS Faces Claim for Not Deporting Illegal Alien

It is my opinion that people who enter the country illegally are not going to be the type of people who respect the laws of this country. They are "invisible" and they have nothing to lose. They come from a virtually lawless society and culture and they are importing that into our country.

When will America have had enough? Will it be too late by the time people wake up?

McGonigle Canyon cleared out!

I love how for 20 years, illegal aliens camped here and the landowners turned a blind eye to them. Now that LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS say they will camp there, suddenly it is No Trepassing for anyone? How unfair is that? Obviously these landowners were willingly allowing the illegals to camp there. Perhaps they made some sort of money from allowing it? I think it is outrageous that American citizens are barred from camping on the same land occupied by ILLEGALS! Also, these illegals have apparently "moved out" but where did they go? Nobody knows. Why wasn't ICE there to give them a free ride home to Mexico? What is WRONG with this country? Here we have HUNDREDS of KNOWN ILLEGAL ALIENS in ONE PLACE and they don't get deported??? What kind of message does that send to the remaining 20 million poor Mexicans who want to come here for "The American Dream"? It says - America has no BALLS.

Protesters would face arrest with migrants

November 18, 2006

CARMEL VALLEY – Police said yesterday that landowners are closing the illegal encampments in McGonigle Canyon, an announcement that hit a day before residents planned to stage a campout to protest migrant workers living there.

Most of the 180 or so day laborers living in shacks and tents in the canyon had packed up their meager belongings and moved out over the last few days as word of the protest spread on Internet blogs and radio airwaves.

Developer DR Horton, which owns part of the land between Carmel Valley and Rancho Peñasquitos, told the men to vacate the property or be arrested for trespassing, said San Diego police Capt. Boyd Long.

The same goes for residents, the Minutemen and their supporters who had planned to gather at the canyon at 2 p.m. today for a picnic and camp out.

“Today, the landowners said they will not allow anyone to be on the property, both migrants and people protesting,” Long said.

Police said people are welcome to protest peacefully on a parcel of city-owned land at the end of Torrey Santa Fe Road, but they will not be allowed to camp overnight.

Julie Adams, who helped organize the protest and has been an outspoken critic of the encampments, considered the eviction a victory, even though she didn't approve of the last-minute tactics.

“It's good in one respect because DR Horton and the police are taking it seriously,” Adams said. “But it was all done in the last hour, which is unfortunate because it could've been handled in a better way.”

The eviction could be the end of a drawn out conflict between residents who live in neighborhoods that surround the canyon, city officials and a handful of private landowners.

Two years ago, camps were removed from land owned by Robert Barczewski and Pardee Homes, only to have them crop up on DR Horton land, a more interior parcel.

Residents voiced concerns of criminal activity and fire hazards at the camp, and they complained about migrants who walk through their yards.

As many as 300 men, many of them undocumented immigrants, lived in the canyon recently, authorities estimate.

Police had already formulated a plan with landowners on how to deal with the migrant camps, Long said.

The plan included securing all entry points where vehicles could drive into the canyon, posting “No Trespassing” signs and hiring private security guards to prevent new camps from popping up.

Once the camps are completely vacated, it will be up to the landowners to clear away the shantytown and trash left behind.

Long said the effort was accelerated this week in light of the media attention promoting the protest.

“We didn't want to rush into it and move these people onto the streets,” Long said. “They could easily spring up in another part of town or canyon or behind businesses in the Rancho Peñasquitos area.”

Enrique Morones of Border Angels, who has worked with the migrants over the past 20 years, said the group has been working on finding alternative housing for the men.

He denied that the landowners were kicking out the migrants, saying many had already left to go back home to their families in Mexico or to live in apartments with friends.

Morones said that the new trespassing rules were instead being used as a tool to keep the Minutemen out of the canyon.

Earlier this week, a couple dozen residents and Minutemen staged a canyon clean-up, throwing away loads of trash at the camps to bring media attention to the issue.

Enforcing Federal Law at the Local Level

Note to ACLU and other Pro-Illegal groups who are suing local towns who wish to enforce Federal Immigration Laws:

If a state can't enforce federal law for immigration it can't regulate any federal law. Usurping the authority of federal law would be passing any law that the federal government has made a law on.

The federal government made a national speed limit of 55 miles an hour a few years back demonstrating its regulatory authority over speed limits. All states have speed limits and that would be usurping the federal governments authority. And they enforce them.

There is federal law concerning drugs, therefore no state can usurp the federal law by usurping the federal governments authority to regulate illegal drugs.

The federal government has gun laws and interstate laws concerning nearly everything, no local state can usurp the federal governments authority to enforce those laws.

That list goes on and on. If we can't enforce immigration law then we can't enforce any other law of which the federal government has staked a claim.

Its no more stupid then what is happening right now. If we can't enforce immigration law because it is federal we can't enforce any other federal law in whole or in part.

BMV worker charged with selling fake IDs

November 14, 2006 SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles officials say they've added security measures following the arrest of a worker on charges that she sold fraudulent state identification cards to illegal immigrants.

Prosecutors charged 28-year-old Julian Marie Sanchez with taking cash in exchange for I-D cards at the South Bend license branch where she worked.

Prosecutors say she would usually charge 100- to 200-dollars, but sometimes as much as 500-dollars for the I-D cards.

Sanchez was released on bond yesterday from St. Joseph County Jail, where she had been held since her arrest last week on bribery charges.

On the courthouse steps, she told supporters that she knows she did wrong, but added, "I did it for my people."

The story of the murder of the parents of Heather Steffik by an illegal alien in Tennessee

The Bloody Consequences of Open Borders

Please make time to read this MOST EXCELLENT blog article from Michelle Malkin on the recent tragic murder of actress Adrienne Shelly in NYC by yet another illegal immigrant who should not have been here.

Just when exactly will Americans and the MEDIA become outraged by the lax immigration policies that have gotten us to where we are right now.. in crisis? What will it take for people to rise up and demand that our borders be closed to illegal aliens. Why is our border STILL A SIEVE now FIVE YEARS AFTER 9/11????

Who is the next victim of an illegal alien? How many victims will it take to get people to demand change from our Federal government?! This new Democratic congress will want to slip Amnesty through as a first order of business. Do you really want to keep the 12 MILLION illegal aliens who are here now? The ones who are here now, the majority, are not the brightest and best from Mexico and South America. They are the poor, the criminals, the unwanted in Mexico. Is that who you welcome with open arms to become new American citizens?

Steve Elliot from speaks

From his blog for Wednesday, Nov 8th at

Make sure to read the comments on this post also....

President Delivers Knee To Groin -- Amnesty Is Coming!
by Steve Elliott, President

President Bush almost made a mistake at his first post-election news conference….He almost forgot to announce that amnesty is on his “list of things that we need to get done.”

Whew! Good thing that reporter reminded him with that last-second question before the closing bell of the press conference! That will really cheer up the grassroots base already demoralized by the abject failure of both the President and the Republican Congress. Actually, it was like a knee to the groin for citizens who have carried the heavy load this year in standing on principle for the security of our nation while the President tried to sell us down the Rio Grande.

Here’s what the President said:

“I think we have a good chance [at passing the amnesty
bill]. Thank you. It's an important issue and I hope we
can get something done on it. I meant to put that in my
list of things that we need to get done.”

Real Political Fallout Over Immigration

Even though all the post-election analysis is focusing on what will happen with the war in Iraq, the President’s comments should be a warning to every concerned American that the most likely place to look for political fallout is the issue of immigration.

A Republican House -- for all its perceived and real ethical and agenda failures -- was without question the last holdout in Washington, D.C., blocking the Senate/President amnesty plan. With Speaker Pelosi and Judiciary Chair Conyers, an amnesty bill in early 2007 seems likely. It will be a difficult fight to keep House Democrats from giving the Senate and the President what they want -- amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens.

Border Security Republicans Go Down

The change in House control is compounded by the number of strong border security Congressmen who were defeated at the polls. Let’s be clear -- the Republicans were NOT defeated because of the strong stance some took on border security. The exit polling data shows clearly that it was the Democrats’ ability ot nationalize the election as a referendum of President Bush and the war in Iraq, combined with numerous missteps by Republican Congressional leaders, that caused the changeover. In fact, the exit polling showed that six in 10 Americans are concerned about the problem of illegal immigration.

That said, defeated Republican members of the House averaged 88% on Grassfire’s 2006 Immigration Scorecard -- above the overall average Republican score of 84%. Only one defeated Republican House member scored below 70% and 12 scored 90% or above.

On the Senate side, three of the most closely watched races saw strong border security Republicans get defeated (assuming the last results hold): Allen (VA-100%), Burns (MT-100%), Talent (MO-91%).

Please understand -- exit poll results do not show that border security was the decisive issue in the defeat of these Republican members of Congress. My point is that our hand in the House and Senate just got significantly weaker. (You can access Grassfire’s online Scorecard here:

What’s Next In The Fight To Secure Our Borders

The record of 2006 shows that grassroots Americans stood up to the onslaught of the open borders/amnesty forces. We stared down the President, the Senate, the media and millions of illegal aliens protesting in our streets. I was told by members of House and their staffers that were it not for the efforts of grassroots citizens, House Republicans would not have had the political fortitude to stand up to the amnesty push.

But we just lost our main ally. And with the President bending over backwards to find “common ground” with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Charles Rangel -- and indicating that immigration was on his “list” -- the fight to secure our borders and stop amnesty just got exponentially more difficult.

In the coming months, citizens like you and me will have to sacrifice even more and work even harder. This will require movement leaders to work together more closely behind the united, common goal of stopping the invasion.

This is no time to shrink back from this battle for the very future of our nation. In fact, Grassfire is already gearing up for the coming fight. I trust you will join with us and millions of citizens who are taking a stand to secure our nation.

Pelosi's agenda

From this article:

Her first 100 hours:

All the days after that: "Pay as you go," meaning no increasing the deficit, whether the issue is middle class tax relief, health care or some other priority.

Not long before sitting down for a lunchtime interview, she turned down a suggestion from Speaker Dennis Hastert that they jointly appoint former FBI Director Louie Freeh to recommend improvements in the page program.

"That was about protecting their majority" rather than the pages, she said dismissively.

Instead, she wants to put Hastert and other Republicans under oath and make them say what they knew of Foley's actions, when they learned it and what they did to stop him.

The potential for political gain is clear to her.

"It's an opportunity for growth among women" for the Democrats, she said. "They don't always vote and this could be a motivation."

With married women, in particular, it's a huge issue, she added.

Among older voters, too.

"If there's an ethical issue, seniors take a hike" and abandon politicians they blame, she said.

"If we hold onto seniors we win the election."

I love the party of the Clinton blow job in the Oval Office trying to point the finger at Republicans like Democrats are some kind of purists. Bottom line is - we are all human. There are fallable people in BOTH parties and they should be punished. Clinton WAS NOT PUNISHED for doing something that ANY CEO IN AMERICA would have been lambasted for. This is way more of a travesty than the act itself and then he continued on to LIE about it, tried to get Monica to lie about it, perjured himself. Yet we let him stay our President. So I don't want to hear any of this "better than thou" from Democrats over Mark Foley. People should be held accountable for their actions REGARDLESS of their political party and the political party should not be held accountable for the actions of a few. We need to treat situations on a case by case basis. No party can say they have only politicians who do no wrong. We all know that is a sack of lies right there.

So Democrats, please stop making an issue out of this to further your political agenda.

2007 - The Year of the Mexican

So the uninformed, media-brainwashed, knee-jerk American public has voted in a bunch of liberals and here is what that is going to mean for America:

1. Amnesty for 12 million illegal aliens will go through and we will reward them for their criminal behavior and let them become citizens (so they can vote Democratic no less)
2. More government entitlement programs for the illegal aliens and the lazy ass Americans who could contribute in exchange for their handout but are not required to
3. Fund cuts for supplies in Iraq - yet we will have many troops still on the ground but they will not approve funding for needed supplies. You think it's bad now in Iraq?
4. North American Union will become closer to reality - the agenda is to remove the borders between us and Mexico and Canada and have one North American Union. Say goodbye to the United States.
5. Our Constitution will be further ignored and amended
6. The ACLU will get support from Congress to do even more damage while defending illegal aliens and sue-happy scumbag Americans.

This is what the ignorant populace has wrought on our nation. I am telling you this. We are one step closer to all out Civil War now.

Parkland Hospital Caters to Illegals

Cross posted from here
Another blogger against illegals.. the numbers are growing!

Parkland Memorial Hospital - Unbelievable!!

by hilemanhouse — published on November 6th, 2006

And this is just ONE hospital !!!!

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:

1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963.
2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after.
3. Jack Ruby, who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, died there a few years later by coincidence On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That’s almost 44 per day—every day.)

A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants.’ Crikey, that’s 11,200 “anchor babies” born every year just in Dallas. According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

The average patient in Parkland’s maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay. OK, fine. That doesn’t mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital, they do.

Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE.
The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child—her previous two were also born at Parkland. Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico. This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the hospital won’t turn her away. (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)

How long has this been going on? What are the long-term effects?
Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986 shortly after her mother entered the U.S. illegally—now she is having her own child there as well. (That’s right, she’s technically a U.S. citizen.) These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.

Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.

Because these women are illegal immigrants they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification—no proof of income. An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income—an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.

My husband is a pilot for the United States Navy (yes, he fought in Iraq) and while the health care is good, we Navy wives don’t get any of these perks! Car seats? Diapers? Not so much. So my question is this: Does our public medical care system treat illegal immigrants better than American citizens? Yes it does!

As I mentioned, the care I have received is perfectly adequate but it’s bare bones, meat and potato medical care—not top of line.

Their (the illegals) medical care is free—simply because they are illegal immigrants?

Once again, there is no way to verify their income. Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job. Yeah, the ‘free’ care is not so easy for Americans.)

There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County. So the hospital is going to sue them! Illegals get it all free! But U.S. citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?

As if that isn’t annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish!! In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband. The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family and the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish. This was apparently a great injustice to her.

In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.

In the meantime, I have to end my column here. I have to go buy a car seat.

American companies who support La Raza

So what is La Raza?

"La Raza" (The Race) is a broad term which refers to those whose ancestry is indigenous to the area of Mexico (or "Aztlan"). MEChA members refer to themselves as "La Raza" or "Raza," but the term itself is used to indicate camaraderie among those in different organizations with the same objectives. There are a number of organizations who consider themselves to be La Raza.

The most visible of these groups are MEChA, The Brown Berets de Aztlan, OLA (Organization for the Liberation of Aztlan), La Raza Unida Party, and the "Nation of Aztlan" to name a few. Although the activism of these organizations vary from somewhat radical to extremely radical, they share the same objectives, the "liberation of Aztlan." Each follows the Raza manifesto "El Plan de Aztlan (sometimes called "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan"). The Nation of Aztlan, tied to La Voz de Aztlan disseminates the exact same propaganda that MEChA spreads including antisemitic propaganda.

Believers in the Aztlan legend insist upon the
indivisibility of "La Raza" and their common goals, one of them being the need to abolish the border between the U.S. and Mexico. There is a myriad of Raza college newspaper. Some are El Popo, Aztlan News, Chispas, Gente de Aztlan (UCLA), Voz Fronteriza (U.C. San Diego), La Voz Mestiza (U.C. Irvine) and La Voz Berkeley. It is not uncommon for the writers of these publications to refer to the U.S., as "AmeriKKKa."

And here are the American TRAITORS who support it:

Mexican Immigration Laws

So shouldn't the US have the same system as freaking MEXICO? Vincente Fox actually criticizes the US for doing EXACTLY what his own damn country is doing!

1. If you migrate to this county, you must speak the native language.
2. You have to be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers allowed.
3. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, all government business will be conducted in our language.
4. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here.
5 Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.
6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs.
7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
8. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed waterfront property. That is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
9. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies, if you do you will be sent home.
10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.
Harsh, you say? The above laws happen to be the immigration laws of MEXICO!

And HERE we have Vincente Fox's opinion on why we should be more lenient with immigrants than HE IS IN HIS OWN COUNTRY:

JIM LEHRER: As you know, the major opposition to what you want comes from members of Congress and others who say, wait a minute, these people violated the law; they are here illegally; why should we grant them amnesty, because that goes down the road - what about other people who have committed crimes, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera -- how do you answer that?

PRESIDENT VICENTE FOX: Well, first, I respect the U.S. Congress; they have the final word, and the final decision, no doubt. We don't want to interfere on U.S. politics or U.S. mechanisms, so that's number one. Now, what is the argument? I think that first of all we're not looking for amnesty. We're not pushing to amnesty. And there are many words that are being used on this subject that could be misleading. I'd rather talk about regularization, so…

JIM LEHRER: Aren't they really the same, Mr. President?

PRESIDENT VICENTE FOX: No. Because I Foxunderstand that amnesty goes further beyond. I don't think our people is requesting to become U.S. nationals, to become U.S. citizens; what they want is the opportunity to work legally, contribute to the U.S. economy, and go back and forth to Mexico, as long as they have a job, as long as companies and corporations or employers need them - this is key - crucial is not only that they offer the work force; it's somebody that needs that work force, that has hired them, so if it is illegal what happens now; let's recognize it. Let's recognize that it's illegal, and let's legalize it, or regularize that situation, but what we cannot hide is that they are needed here; that companies, that people, that families, that small businesses want and need to hire them.

Well GUESS WHAT. They don't contribute to the economy. Legal or not most of them send any extra money BACK to the Mexican economy. I highly doubt the illegals want to become legal and then they will need to pay taxes. They just want to be the parasites that they are on the US economy. Vincente Fox - please be honest and admit that you allow illegals into our country because it is YOUR WELFARE PLAN to allow them to find monetary support from the US.

JIM LEHRER: What about the economic issue for Mexico? It's been suggested too that Mexico needs that money that these workers bring back to Mexico; is that true?

PRESIDENT VICENTE FOX: Well, we more than welcome that money, of course, especially by their families, because we should take into account that the wives of most of these Mexicans that are hard working here in the United States are alone there in Mexico, trying to cope with the problems of poverty, the problems of income, and these women I really admire because they are doing their share back there. So it's important that they receive the support, a hundred dollars a month, two hundred, that they send to them.

So all the TRAITOR employers who hire illegal aliens are helping keep them here. We need to hit them in the pocket so it is not desirable for them to come here. There will be no jobs for them if they are not legal. How hard is this?

What really ticks me off also is this. The stupid Mexicans don't realize they are simply the new generation of cotton-picking slaves. They are underpaid and have no benefits because they are not legal. By continuing to accept this kind of treatment, they allow unscrupulous employers to exploit them and treat them like dogs. They are a disgrace to their Mexican heritage because they too are sell outs to their country.

Australians Got it Right!

Good for the Aussies!

Muslims who want to live under Muslim Sharia law were told on Wednesday
to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to
head off potential terror attacks.

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to
Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John
Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a

Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that
some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not
accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by
parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has
Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on
national television.

"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws
governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another the
Muslim law, that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law,
independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the
opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then,
that's a better option", Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said
those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other
country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims
who did not want to accept local values should "clear off. Basically people
who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want ! to live by Australian
values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying
he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques Quote:
this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their
culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in
patriotism by the majority of Australians."

"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the
'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our
patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold
a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to

"However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our
country, and apparently some born here, need to understand." "This idea of
Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our
sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own
culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle."

"This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials
and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom"

"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become
part of our society, Learn the language!"

"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right; wing,
political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian
principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is
certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God
offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your
new home, because God is part of our culture."

"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is
that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us."

"If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like " A Fair Go", then
you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are
happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't
care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your
culture, but do not force it on others.

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you
every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining,
whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or
Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great
Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here.
You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."

How Politicians voted on Illegal Immigration Bills

Found an excellent post at my "sister" site
I figure I'll help get this info out there before Election Day
Here is the link to the actual text of the S 2611.
Here is an in-depth analysis of the effect of this bill.

When deciding whom to vote for on Tuesday, please consider how your Senator voted on S 2611, the Senate Amnesty Bill. For those who need a refresher, the Senate bill provided:

The horrors go on, but this bill could easily be summarized as giving amnesty, citizenship, and massive entitlements to illegal aliens and their families.

And a previous post on the same blog that has this info:

Illegal immigration is impacting nearly every aspect of our society. From crime and education to education and healthcare. Our national identity is radically changing and we're becoming a dual society that doesn't speak a common language. When deciding whom to vote for on Tuesday (you are voting right?), please consider how your Congressman voted on HR 4437.

HR 4437 was the immigration bill passed by the House last December by a vote of 239 to 182. It sparked the illegal immigration marches this summer across America. HR 4437 is as follows:

Simply put, it would improve our ability to secure the border and enforce our laws.

So when deciding whom to vote for this Tuesday, please look at how your Congressman voted. If they're one of the 239 who voted for this bill, they should earn your vote. If they're one of the 182 who didn't vote for this bill, you shouldn't vote for them.

ACLU is Anti-American

Found this EXCELLENT blog discussion on the topic of the recent blocking by a LAME Federal Judge of the Hazeleton Illegal-Immigration Relief Act. Read the discussion here...

The ACLU is basing its argument on stating the United States has violated a vague International Human Rights Treaty signed in 1948 called the AMERICAN DECLARATION OF THE RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF MAN. This treaty states that, “Every person has the right to work, under proper conditions, and to follow his vocation freely, insofar as existing conditions of employment permit.” As I said, the treaty is vague. Nowhere in the treaty does it define what proper conditions are, however another section does state that the duty of every person to obey the law of the country in which he may be.

Current immigration law provides criminal sanctions for employers who hire illegal aliens. In other words it is a crime to hire an illegal alien…period. The ACLU tries to hide this fact by omitting the word “illegal” and replacing it with “undocumented”. Illegal aliens are criminals and hiring a criminal to work is a crime also. In essence the ACLU is attempting to grant the same rights and benefits that a law abiding citizen enjoys to international criminals.

“The most poorly paid and least desirable jobs in the United States are filled by undocumented immigrants, yet the government increasingly limits the safeguards available to this population, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and workplace discrimination,” said Claudia Flores, an attorney with the ACLU Women’s Rights Project. “The United States government has an obligation under universal human rights norms to protect vulnerable populations, such as immigrant women, and has failed in this regard.”

Undocumented immigrants make up nearly five percent of the U.S. labor force. However, employment and labor protections under state laws have been either eliminated or severely limited for undocumented workers in some states. These include such basic workplace protections as freedom from workplace discrimination and entitlement to hold an employer responsible for a workplace injury.

The ACLU ignores the fact that these “undocumented workers” don’t have a right to work here in the first place, and that those hiring them are breaking the law. The United States can not enforce or provide protections for criminals in the work place. They can’t even enforce laws against hiring them in the first place. If any illegal immigrant is being exploited it is from an employer that is providing them with much more of an opportunity than they could ever find in their own country and at the expense of American jobs and law. The real way to stop the exploitation is to stop the illegal hiring.

Realtors want to sell to Illegal Aliens now

This is freaking OUTRAGEOUS! Realtors want to sell our country out to illegals!!

Realtors project housing boom if alternate credit scores adopted

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - The slumping housing market could get a $200 billion boost from new immigrant home buyers if mainstream lenders start using alternative methods to score credit, a national group of Hispanic realtors said Friday.

Creditors like Citigroup Inc.'s Citibank see recent immigrants as a growing market niche, but those who lack Social Security numbers or legal status in the U.S. are often rejected by the three major credit bureaus.

A handful of new credit reporting systems already used by 200 real estate brokers, community groups and mortgage counselors nationwide allows them to calculate risk by evaluating a prospective client's utility bills and rent checks.

Should the new reporting methods gain wider acceptance on Wall Street and among secondary mortgage lenders like Fannie Mae, housing markets in places like California's Central Valley would stand to gain the most, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals said.

"Gateway states like California and Texas will disproportionately benefit from the housing boom because so many of their residents are immigrants," said Gary Acosta, the association's co-founder, speaking from the group's annual convention in Las Vegas. "Boosting homeownership among these populations is a positive contribution to the overall fabric of our society and our economy."

A study by the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University shows Latinos will account for nearly one-third of the home-buying pool by 2010. That same year, the disposable income of Hispanics will exceed $1.08 trillion, or 9.2 percent of total purchasing power nationwide, according to the Selig Center for Economic Growth at the University of Georgia.

No law requires that buyers be in the country legally in order to purchase real estate, Acosta said. Citibank, for instance, doesn't require that borrowers be citizens or legal residents of the United States, Citigroup spokeswoman Janis Tarter said.

As with many other minority and immigrant communities, bringing Hispanic families into the mortgage market is a continuing challenge, say officials at Federal Reserve Banks across the country.

Community groups from California to Atlanta have begun offering financial education classes in Spanish as the number of mortgage products available to immigrants and underserved populations has grown.

In Fresno, the housing advocate ACORN Housing Corp. helps clients secure loans by writing alternative credit profiles, which often draw on of months of data from telephone bills and employment records, said Lydia Lopez, the group's local manager.

Once ACORN vets the client's financial stability, they send them to Citibank, which finances the home loans.

Automating that process by using programs like First American Corp.'s Anthem service, which generates a credit score using the nontraditional data, will help new immigrant clients win prime-grade financing and acceptance in the secondary market, said Acosta.

"Right now, those applications might be the last thing to sit in a loan officer's 'Inbox' when he's trying to leave at the end of the day," said Mark Catone, First American's senior vice president. "Rather than someone having to review all the information manually, we're trying to fill in the gaps early on."

Acosta said the group was discussing the alternative credit programs with officials at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Both companies require that borrowers for loans they underwrite be legal residents, but Fannie Mae accepts some alternative credit data.

"One of our most widely used products uses rental housing payments and utility accounts to underwrite loans for people who lack traditional credit records," said Cristina Miranda, a Fannie Mae spokeswoman. "We keep on looking at the impact that certain changes will have on the impact of minority homeownership."

Hello???? How about looking at the impact of selling our country's real estate to FREAKING ILLEGAL ALIENS!! What is wrong with this country letting this happen??? I plan to complain to all these lenders and I will post information on where to flame them when I get it.

Legal Hispanics are against Illegal Aliens too

Anti-illegal immigrant group rallies in Escondido

ESCONDIDO ---- The national group You Don't Speak For Me, representing Latinos who oppose illegal immigration, held a feisty rally in front of Escondido City Hall on Friday morning.

Claudia Spencer, California president of the group and a legal resident who immigrated from Mexico and is now a U.S. citizen, denounced illegal immigrants for turning neighborhoods in North County into "a Third World cesspool" and immigrant rights activists for "brazenly waving foreign flags" during their rallies.

Spencer vowed to speak out on behalf of the "silent majority" of Latino immigrants who oppose illegal immigration.

"We're here to close the borders," said retired Army Col. Albert Rodriguez, chairman of the group that was founded in May and reportedly has chapters in 14 states. "We can't accept this invasion from the south."

North County cities have attracted considerable attention in the national debate over illegal immigration.

Although Friday's speakers didn't mention it, the rally took place at the same time as a news conference held by the American Civil Liberties Union in San Diego. The ACLU and other civil rights groups are suing the city of Escondido to stop a recently passed ordinance that would ban landlords from renting to illegal immigrants.

About 25 people, including all three Escondido City Council members who supported the rental ordinance, attended the rally, which lasted about half an hour.

Congressman Brian Bilbray, R-Escondido, who is seeking re-election Tuesday, told the group that the federal government had let Escondido down and the city had "taken action it never should have had to take" in enacting the rental ordinance.

Bilbray also took credit for pressuring Immigration and Customs Enforcement to perform a raid a week ago on a day-labor hiring site near a gas station on Encinitas Boulevard in Encinitas. He pledged to visit other sites around the county and call authorities' attention to them.

Bilbray touted a bill sponsored by Reps. David Dreier, R-San Dimas, and Silvestre Reyes, D-Texas, that would create digitally encrypted, tamper-proof Social Security cards and increase penalties for employers who hire illegal immigrants.

After the rally, Spencer said she would be recruiting people for You Don't Speak for Me across the state and continuing to lobby both Congress and local governments for more immigration enforcement.

The event combined media-conscious staging for several TV stations with genuine outrage.

While event organizers urged supporters to line up so that Latino faces would appear on TV, separately, a tearful Melanie Kortlang held a picture of her (non-Latino) daughter Amy, who was killed in a crash with an alleged drunken driver in October near Ramona.

The driver of the truck that smashed head-on into Amy Kortlang's car, Rafael Perez, was previously deported to Mexico in March after a drunken-driving conviction in the United States and is now in county jail.

Rally participants held up signs that showed people such as Oceanside police Officer Anthony Zeppetella, who was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant in 2003.

The signs came in handy during an apparently unplanned tussle that distracted the cameras for a few moments.

As San Diego Minutemen founder Jeff Schwilk took the podium, activist Daniel Perez walked up to the side of the rally and began speaking loudly. Several people surrounded Perez and held up their signs in an attempt to stop cameras from showing his face.

A man wearing an Airborne Brigade cap, later identified as Minuteman rally organizer Raymond Herrera, kept his hands behind his back and began pushing Perez with his shoulders and hips. They did not exchange blows.

Afterwards Perez said he had come to City Hall, which was closed, to turn in a permit application he was holding for an event planned on another day and said he didn't know about the rally before he walked up.

"It just shows how much the city is being hijacked by the Minutemen," Perez said, adding that he was considering pressing battery charges against Herrera.

Escondido police questioned both men but officers said there would be no arrests and a report on the incident would be filed with the district attorney's office.

Medicaid Denies Benefits to Anchor Babies - YAY

Medicaid Wants Citizenship Proof for Infant Care

Article Tools Sponsored By
Published: November 3, 2006

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 — Under a new federal policy, children born in the United States to illegal immigrants with low incomes will no longer be automatically entitled to health insurance through Medicaid, Bush administration officials said Thursday.

Doctors and hospitals said the policy change would make it more difficult for such infants, who are United States citizens, to obtain health care needed in the first year of life.

Illegal immigrants are generally barred from Medicaid but can get coverage for treatment of emergency medical conditions, including labor and delivery.

In the past, once a woman received emergency care under Medicaid for the birth of a baby, the child was deemed eligible for coverage as well, and states had to cover the children for one year from the date of birth.

Under the new policy, an application must be filed for the child, and the parents must provide documents to prove the child’s citizenship.

The documentation requirements took effect in July, but some states have been slow to enforce them, and many doctors are only now becoming aware of the effects on newborns.

Obtaining a birth certificate can take weeks in some states, doctors said. Moreover, they said, illegal immigrant parents may be reluctant to go to a state welfare office to file applications because they fear contact with government agencies that could report their presence to immigration authorities.

Administration officials said the change was necessary under their reading of a new law, the Deficit Reduction Act, signed by President Bush in February. The law did not mention newborns, but generally tightened documentation requirements because some lawmakers were concerned that immigrants were fraudulently claiming United States citizenship to get Medicaid.

Marilyn E. Wilson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Medicaid program, said: “The federal government told us we have no latitude. All states must change their policies and practices. We will not be able to cover any services for the newborn until a Medicaid application is filed. That could be days, weeks or months after the child is born.”

About four million babies are born in the United States each year, and Medicaid pays for more than one-third of all births. The number involving illegal immigrant parents is unknown but is likely to be in the tens of thousands, health experts said.

Doctors and hospitals denounced the policy change and denied that it was required by the new law. Dr. Jay E. Berkelhamer, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, said the policy “punishes babies who, according to the Constitution, are citizens because they were born here.”

Dr. Martin C. Michaels, a pediatrician in Dalton, Ga., said that continuous coverage in the first year of life was important because “newborns need care right from the start.”

“Some Americans may want to grant amnesty to undocumented immigrants, and others may want to send them home,” Dr. Michaels said. “But the children who are born here had no say in that debate.”

Under a 1984 law, infants born to pregnant women on Medicaid are in most cases deemed eligible for Medicaid for one year.

In an interview on Thursday, Leslie V. Norwalk, acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said the new policy “reflects what the new law says in terms of eligibility.”

“When emergency Medicaid pays for a birth,” Ms. Norwalk said, “the child is not automatically deemed eligible. But the child could apply and could qualify for Medicaid because of the family’s poverty status. If anyone knows about a child being denied care, we want to know about it. Please step up and tell us.”

Under federal law, hospitals generally have to examine and treat patients who need emergency care, regardless of their ability to pay. So the new policy is most likely to affect access to other types of care, including preventive services and treatment for infections and chronic conditions, doctors said.

Representative Charlie Norwood, Republican of Georgia, was a principal architect of the new law.

“Charlie’s intent was that every person receiving Medicaid needs to provide documentation,” said John E. Stone, a spokesman for Mr. Norwood, who is a dentist and has been active on health care issues. “With newborns, there should be no problem. All you have to do is provide a birth certificate or hospital records verifying birth.”

But Dr. Berkelhamer disagreed. Even when the children are eligible for Medicaid, he said, illegal immigrants may be afraid to apply because of “the threat of deportation.”

The new policy “will cost the health care system more in the long run,” Dr. Berkelhamer added, because children of illegal immigrants may go without immunizations, preventive care and treatments needed in the first year of life.

Doctors, children’s hospitals and advocacy groups have been urging states to preserve the old policy on Medicaid eligibility for children born to illegal immigrants.

Sara Rosenbaum, a professor of health law at George Washington University, said: “The new policy reflects a tortured reading of the new law and is contrary to the language of the 1984 statute, which Congress did not change. The whole purpose of the earlier law, passed with bipartisan support, was to make sure that a baby would not have a single day’s break in coverage from the date of birth through the first year of life.”

California has objected to the new policy. S. Kimberly Belshé, secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency, said: “By virtue of being born in the United States, a child is a U.S. citizen. What more proof does the federal government need?”

(Reprinted from a public forum posting - original appears to have been New York Times)

This is WHY I agree with the move in this direction because as a taxpayer, I am fed up with my dollars going to illegal CRIMINALS. They want to come here illegally, they have to foot the bill for the kids they are popping out like candy. I am not a cold heartless person who wishes to deny medical care to babies. I just know that this problem of illegal aliens popping out babies so they can stay here is OUT OF CONTROL and this is just ONE WAY we can discourage this practice. If it will be difficult to get medical care for that anchor baby, the pregnant illegals will be a lot less likely to try to have that baby on our soil just for a way to gain citizenship. The next step is to just FREAKING DEPORT all illegals who are found. Seems so simple to me. I will volunteer to drive the tractor trailer if necessary.

The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is NEGATIVE.

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

The Mexican Invasion Must End

Yes we are a nation of immigrants. But we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants. Yes our ancestors stole this country from the Native Americans. We cannot be held responsible for what our ancestors did. We are here now. Most of us were born here. We do not want this country invaded by Mexico and that is exactly what is happening - every day - from our southern border. I am tired of seeing Hispanic signs everywhere I turn. I am SICK and tired of having to Press 1 for English Dammit! This is America! We speak English here. If you come here you have to learn ENGLISH.

I am SICK AND TIRED of seeing my tax dollars go to illegal aliens and their damn ANCHOR BABIES. Having a baby here should not give an entire Mexican family the right to live here. The US has allowed this ridiculous loophole for too long. ALL ILLEGALS must be sent home NOW! I don't CARE if they have lived here illegally for 5 years and they are all comfortable and have a job etc. TOO FREAKING BAD. You snuck in here illegally and now the American people have finally had enough and want them all OUT. Come in the DAMN FRONT DOOR like all other immigrants. You are bringing your slums from Mexico to our country and we don't like it.

There are no jobs Americans will not do if they are paid a wage they can live on without having to live 20 people in a house to do it. All employers who PREY on illegal aliens need to be boycotted. They are TRAITORS to our country. They support the invasion and they are making it possible for them to make a living. If they are not employed they will not stay.

WAKE UP AMERICANS or you will have to learn Spanish just to order a burger at McDonald's very soon.
